Experience Chinese New Year
Thursday, 19 January 2012 1:34 PM
In Chinese Astrology, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon which is particularly auspicious as it is predicted to bring prosperity and good fortune. Chinese New Year starts on 23rd January, but unlike our own flash-in-the-pan celebrations the festivities will carry on for fifteen days where they culminate with the colourful lantern spectacle where lantern processions crowd the streets of villages, towns and cities.
