Tour operator Discover the World has launched a fresh concept for travel in New Zealand, encouraging travellers to travel slowly and savour each area.
The 'travel less, see more' five-night itineraries feature locations all over New Zealand and are designed to showcase the best visitor experiences at a slower pace of travel, allowing for longer stays and more in-depth exploration.
When combining a number of regions into one holiday, the company offers the choice of car, air, coach or rail travel as well as a choice of accommodation, from luxury lodges to standard hotels.
North Island locations include the Bay of Islands, Coromandel Peninsula, Hawkes' Bay, New Plymouth and Wellington with extensions in Hokianga, Tongariro, Auckland, Kapiti Island and Wairarapa.
South Island locations include Nelson, Christchurch & Canterbury, Dunedin & Coastal Otago, Fiordland National Park, the Southern Lakes and West Coast.
Extensions on offer include the Marlborough Sounds, Arthur's Pass National Park, Punakaiki and Stewart Island among others.
The 'travel less, see more' itineraries start at £310 per person including five nights' accommodation with breakfast and excursions, and optional three-night extensions from £164.
