Zimbabwe – despite political issues – remains a safe and beautiful place to visit.

With a near-perfect year round climate boasting hot temperatures and dry, clear skies, it offers a multitude of different opportunities from Game viewing on Safari, to fishing, fine dining and historical cultural experiences.

Bordered to the north by Zambia, east and west by Botswana and Mozambique respectively and South Africa beyond the powerful Limpopo, Zimbabwe exhibits staggering scenery ranging from the low lying river valley of the Zambezi, to the mountainous east and the richly fertile red soil stretching out to Hwange National Park in the west, which boasts the highest concentration of wild elephants anywhere in Africa.

Zimbabwe’s capital Harare is a good starting point with hotels and restaurants in abundance. Excellent local attractions such as the Lake Chivero Game Park and Lion Park just 50km outside can be enjoyed on a day visit. For the full effect, venture into one of the many national parks, the thick bush of Acacia and Mopane is home to Wild dogs, Lion, Hyena, Buffalo and Leopard.

Zimbabwe is also the best place to view the spectacular scenery of the thundering Victoria Falls and the ancient Great Zimbabwe Ruins reveals an insight into ancient African civilisation.
