A village in the Tyrolean Alps, Sankt Anton am Arlberg is a prominent ski resort and one of the primary sporting destinations in Austria.

While it has a permanent population of just 2,500 inhabitants, this is swelled during the ski-season with guests arriving from all over Europe. The village is part of the Arlberg alliance of ski resorts and maintains a lively aprés-ski scene in a relaxed ambiance. Some 86 mountain railways and lifts offer skiers and snowboarders access to over 270 kilometres of groomed slopes and over 180 kilometres of deep powder runs, with guests free to explore from dawn until dusk. With 700 guest beds on offer the slopes are never crowded.
