Travellers looking for adventure holiday ideas are being offered a new extreme sports package in Nepal with Himalayan Footsteps.
The trekking specialist and tour operator said the experience is aimed at "adrenaline junkies seeking new high-altitude thrills".
Spanning a period of 20 days, the trip begins with a four-day mountain bike ride through the Kathmandu valley, including a 15km downhill journey to the village of Panauti.
Travellers will then be able to rest for a couple of days before steeling their nerves for a 150ft bungee jump, which will be followed by paragliding along the Pokhara valley in Nepal's Annapurna region.
Himalayan Footsteps' X-treme Adrenaline Nepal package also includes two days of white-water rafting along the Seti river and canoeing on the Rapti river.
The tour will come to an end with an elephant safari in the jungles of Chitwan National Park, after which guests will have a chance to help wash an elephant and see local Tharu cultural dancing.
Prices for the package start from £1,386 per person on a twin-share basis.
Himalayan Footsteps also operates treks and adventure holidays in India, Tibet and Bhutan.
