Conservation volunteering with i-to-i
If travelling the world and discovering new countries and cultures is one of your deepest passions, why not throw yourself into conservation volunteering and make a real difference to the places you visit?
When you are left awe-inspired by the natural attractions of a particular destination, you are certain to want to ensure that these sights are protected so that they can be enjoyed by future generations for many more years to come.
Here at i-to-i, you can help to do just that by signing up to one of our volunteer packages that will see you working to look after the planet in what is likely to be one of the most meaningful experiences you have ever had.
All about conservation work
It feels as though the world is becoming increasingly small, with even some of the most far-flung destinations now getting easier to reach every day.
Here at i-to-i, we are passionate about ensuring no lasting damage is caused to the beautiful countries we visit and that is why we offer the chance for you to help out with specialist conservation work across the world.
These schemes support some of the most precious habitats and creatures on Earth – and when you take part you can be sure that your efforts are directly helping the environment.
If you're animal-mad then these experiences are an absolute must. You could help monitor whales or great white sharks in South Africa, or raise lion cubs in the same country.
Alternatively, you might lend a hand on a marine conservation programme in South Africa, assist in preserving the Amazon rainforest, preventing deforestation in Kenya or studying the ecology of Costa Rica.
And for a package that offers something for everyone, check out our Galapagos conservation volunteering trip. Here you will be able to visit what we think is one of the new seven wonders of the world, explore the network of islands and their unique animal inhabitants and ensure that they are protected for future generations.
Your stay here will make more than a little difference and you will quickly learn that you still have plenty of time in which to enjoy yourself and unwind.
Best of all, wherever you visit you will be able to immerse yourself in local life, meet new people and make new friends – on top of all those amazing memories you will take away with you.
Why i-to-i is passionate about conservation
At i-to-i, conservation and the environment are among our greatest passions, along with travelling and visiting new countries, of course!
In fact, it would not be possible for us to maintain some of the projects we run if it were not for all of the generous volunteers who donate their time and efforts.
Every single person who helps out on these programmes brings with them a different set of skills or experiences that really help to benefit the conservation work we do.
And it does not matter whether you are 18 or 80, or if you only have a single week to spare or a whole 12 – you can still make a real difference when you volunteer some of your time on one of these projects.
So why not make your next trip a really meaningful one? Visit our website or contact us on 0113 205 4620.
Our breaks are fully protected through ABTA and we are also members of the Year Out Group and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office's Know Before You Go scheme, while we promise to fully support you on every step of your journey.
