The allure of Ibiza as a place to go for some serious clubbing and partying is renowned the world over, and villa holidays in Ibiza are a great way to discover this firsthand.
Once you've booked your villa holidays in the Balearic Islands and have unpacked your bags, you're ready to let the good times roll. You will find that an Ibiza holiday has everything you're looking for and more.
You will be able to spend your days relaxing on a beautiful beach or two and supping on cocktails at one of the many bars to be found near the sea, before hitting several clubs once the sun goes down.
Your first port of call should perhaps be San Antonio, arguably the best place to go for partying in Ibiza. Those staying in villas for rent in Jesus, Ibiza or other accommodation might want to head to Es Paradis on the San Antonio waterfront.
This particular club has been in operation since the 1970s and is famous the world over for its water parties, pyramid roof and interesting design and decor.
If you do decide to go here for one of the amazing water parties, make sure you wear your swimming costume underneath your clothes – if you just show up in bathers, you probably won't get in!
Another great place to go for a party is Amnesia, near San Rafael in the middle of the island. Here, you will find two huge rooms for you to dance the night away in, one of which lets the light in completely as the sun comes up. The other, by contrast, is a very dark space, perfect for anyone looking to rock out for hours.
Amnesia is famed for the open air clubbing that took place in the 1980s, as well as foam parties and an interesting mix of pop, disco and house.
If you want to stay in this part of Ibiza, you could head to Privilege, which is also near San Rafael. This is the biggest club to be found on the island and has a swimming pool in the middle of it. Like Amnesia, it too first became famous for holding al fresco club nights.
However, you might be looking for a slightly smaller venue to spend a few nights of your holiday in and, if so, Bora-Bora could be the club for you. This can be found right on the beach in Playa d'en Bossa, with lots of great music and some equally wonderful views of the sea.
Here, you will also come across Martina, which has seen some top-notch names come to entertain the crowds over the years, including Dave Clarke, Hernan Cattaneo, Radio Slave, Funkagenda, DJ Hell, X-press 2 and Troy Pierce.
You should also perhaps make time to visit one of the music bars to be found in Ibiza – the perfect warm-up to any heavy night out. Many of these have cheaper drinks and free entry, such as Guarana Music Bar. You can also choose to stay here for the duration, since the venue is open until 06:00 in the morning.
The sunset strip – a line of cafes in San Antonio – is another location worth checking out. Cafe del Mar is still the one venue to frequent here and was built and designed by Catalan architect Lluis Guell in 1980.
