Brits heading to Vietnam are to be given a discount on a series of holiday offers in celebration of Vietnam Airlines’ decision to introduce direct flights from the UK.
Imaginative Traveller is to give holidaymakers heading to the south-east Asian nation £50 off the cost of a number of its package holidays.
Those taking up the deal will be able to take one of the new twice-weekly flights from Gatwick to Hanoi and Hoi Chi Minh City, which will come into service from December 9th.
Holidaymakers wishing to take advantage of the special deal should book before the end of July to get a £50 discount for each member of their party.
“The charms of Vietnam have made it a firm favourite with intrepid travellers for years but, with people becoming increasingly adventurous with their holiday choices, these new flights will certainly help put Vietnam firmly on the tourism radar,” explained Imaginative Traveller spokeswoman Hiedi Hutchinson.
Available tours include Vietnam at a Glance – a 14-day package holiday that squeezes in some of the country’s main highlights and gives holidaymakers a real taste for everything the nation can offer.
Other popular destinations in south-east Asia include Thailand and Cambodia, with each country offering its own cultural and historical attractions.
