The Ski Club of Great Britain’s website is the number one place to view current snow reports for planning ski holidays all over the world.
The southern hemisphere ski season is now getting underway and the European glaciers are open for summer skiing.
Tignes opened its glacier summer skiing area this weekend, following on from Les Deux Alpes which opened last week.
Glacier skiing at Val d’Isere is scheduled to start on June 28th. There is also skiing in Val Senales and Presena Glacier in Italy; Hintertux, Stubai and Dachstein glaciers in Austria; and Zermatt in Switzerland. Saas Fee will open for summer skiing on July 5th.
In the southern hemisphere, there are currently some top class snow conditions in Chile and Argentina.
Australia and New Zealand are having a slower start but most resorts will be open for the season in the next few weeks, depending on snow conditions.
Snow reports for all these resorts are updated twice a week during the summer on skiclub.co.uk and there is also a round-up of snow conditions in the Snow Overview section.
Watch the weekly Snowcast on SkiTV.co.uk for more reviews, or download the weekly Snow Podcast.
There are even records of snow conditions for 250 resorts from the last 15 years for people planning their next skiing or snowboarding holiday for the 2008/09 season.
