New ITV programme to showcase holiday houses in the UK

A brand new 20-part series called Holiday Home Sweet Home launches on ITV this Saturday October 27th.

The series highlights holiday houses across the country ranging from aspirational beach front villas to idyllic rural cottages and offers an insight into what’s involved in running a self-catering business.

Four properties from Premier Cottages’ luxury self-catering collection: Red Doors Farm and Higher Wiscombe in Devon, Lavender Hill in Somerset and Arbor Holiday and Knightcote Farm Cottages in the Cotswolds will be featured in the new daytime show presented by Lisa Faulkner.

In addition to showcasing the properties the series also focuses on the owners and what it takes to operate a successful holiday home.

Premier Cottages' collection features almost 1,000 four and five-star self-catering cottages across the UK. Properties range from small, romantic bolt holes to large family-friendly country estates. The collection includes pet-friendly accommodation and the widest range of accessible properties in the UK. Many holiday homes have onsite facilities like swimming pools, gyms, spas, indoor games rooms and children’s play areas.

In this new series, Lisa Faulkner visits some more quirky properties from historic forts to gypsy caravans and glamorous camping to stately manor houses. Lisa finds a holiday home to suit everyone, whatever his or her budget or taste.

Her journey will also take in some of beautiful Britain and will offer top tips on what to see and do in different areas of the country.
