From the city that gave us inspirational figures such as Rodin and Monet comes another magnificent piece of work – Hotel Konfidential.
Where?
Situated close to Paris’s iconic Rue de Rivoli, the beautiful Hotel Konfidential stretches across six floors and comes complete with state of the art technology.
Take in the sights (and smells) of the first district where you can stroll amongst the Tuileries Gardens and marvel at the inspirational art inside the Louvre.
What’s so special?
The main restaurant dates back to the 15th century where renowned French poet Francois Villon wrote many of his works and combines a beautiful mélange of both tradition and modernity.
Under the helm of dynamic young chef Akrame Benallal, this venue has already been making waves in the gastronomic world with numerous awards featuring a prestigious Gastronomade award.
His inspiration is taken from some of the culinary greats he has worked under including Ferran Adria from legendary El Bulli in Madrid. The restaurant is a true foodie orgy of both sights and smells.
The daily changing menu uses only the freshest seasonal produce. Be prepared to be taken on an incredibly journey of diverse textures and flavours.
So how about the rooms?
These don’t disappoint either as each suite in this striking venue has a little piece of hidden history for you to enjoy.
Designed by artist Robert Clevier the modern interiors are taken from significant figureheads, moments and places in French history. If you’re a francophile like me, you will appreciate the artwork all the more so.
These include the infamous Marie Antoinette, the Pont Neuf or you may even discover France’s literary great Moliere adorned on the walls. Whether you are ensemble or flying solo why not indulge this spring?
How much?
Rooms price start from £200 per night based on two people sharing.
