Insurance protects travellers from snow

Shearings Holidays are assuring their customers that their travel plans won’t be affected by this year’s snow.
‘Snow assurance’ guarantees are being offered by Shearings – so travelers won’t be out of pocket if severe weather conditions lead to cancelled flights. The holiday company is also freezing all travel insurance prices until 31st March 2012, making it easier for travelers to take out affordable protection.
With flights cancelled at major UK airports due to bad weather conditions as recently as this weekend , Shearings insurance news couldn’t have come at a better time.
The travel insurance plan allows travelers to rebook at no additional cost, or receive a full refund if Shearings is unable to operate a holiday. The company will also pay out £10 to each customer if a planned excursion can’t go ahead because of bad weather whilst on a trip.
Shearings Snow Assurance is included free of charge on all Shearings winter holidays. Alternatively, it is also included in Sheerings optional travel insurance, which starts from £25 per person per holiday.
The optional travel insurance package provides further protection against severe winter weather – including an inbuilt Homeplan cover against weather damage done to your home whilst you are away.
