Tunisia visitors hit record high
Last month 54,752 Brits travelled to Tunisia, giving the country a boost of 46 per cent in June 2012 – an incredible 42 per cent increase on June 2010 arrivals.
Figures for January-June 2013 are also up a massive 31 per cent compared to the same period in 2012, with an 18 per cent rise on the record-breaking 2010 figure.
With a number of new regional routes, hotel openings and promotions from tour operators, the Mediterranean destination is set to welcome even more UK holidaymakers this summer.
The brand new seaside resort Radisson Blu and Thalasso opened this year in Hammamet, while Thomson and First Choice will launch new weekly routes to Tunisia for Summer 2013 to Enfidha from Exeter, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford and Norwich airport.

Tunisia offers over 700 miles of sandy beaches; boasts over 45 luxurious Thalassotherapy centres, as well as an excellent hotel infrastructure, and it’s only two and a half hours from the United Kingdom.
