Wednesday, 12 May 2010 12:00 AM
Travelodge has just opened its tenth hotel in Edinburgh, the Cameron Toll, making the hotel chain the largest in Scotland’s capital city. To celebrate, Travelodge is offering 10,000 rooms from £19 to £29 at its ten hotels across the region during 2010.
Edinburgh is a great destination for a family, romantic or for a girl’s getaway from the fast-approaching World Cup.
Travelodge has also developed a guide on how to see Edinburgh for free; to download the guide just go the Travelodge Website and then to the ‘What’s New’ section.
There are a number of important events coming up in the area and Travelodge has suggested combining a stay with visiting Edinburgh Castle or sampling the Scottish Whisky experience, or with taking in one if the following events:
- West Lothian Highland Games (May 29th)
- Edinburgh Film Festival (starts June 16th)
- Jazz and Blues Festival (starts July 30th)
- Hogmanay Carnival (starts December 28th)
