If you're looking at booking Tunisia luxury holidays, why not consider what the resort of Port El Kantaoui has to offer the discerning traveller?
Located in central Tunisia, just ten kilometres north of Sousse, Port El Kantaoui is a great place to visit and one that is particularly popular among European tourists seeking package holidays and other trips to Tunisia.
If you do decide to make your way here, you won't be disappointed - there is much to keep everyone amused, irrespective of tastes and interests.
It might not seem like the obvious choice to see some Andalucian-style architecture, but if you visit this part of the country, you should keep an eye out for lots of narrow cobbled pathways, beautiful arches and quaysides, all of which characterise this particular resort and bring to mind one of Spain's most beautiful regions.
However, if you're interested in checking out souvenir shops and contemporary boutiques, you will be in your element, as Port El Kantaoui has these in abundance.
You are also sure to enjoy spending time at one of the many cafes and restaurants to be found here.
This luxurious resort is home to a very busy marina - great if you want to spend a day or two in a boat on the open water - as well as beaches, bars and golf courses, so you will certainly not be bored while on holiday in this part of Tunisia.
If you're keen to relax on the beach, head to the famous sandy stretch of Boujaffar between Sousse and Port El Kantaoui.
Here, you will find mock pirate ships - great for small children - and lots of water sports facilities. You can try your hand at windsurfing, paragliding, jet-skiing and water-skiing, as well as stretching your legs on the water in a pedalo.
Those with young kids might love a trip to the Aqua Palace, which is home to wave pools and slides, as well as an aromatic garden and a small zoo. In addition, a nearby amusement park offers the delights of a playground, fairytale rides and a rollercoaster - providing plenty of fun for all the family.
Alternatively, if you're looking to burn some rubber, head to the Hergla Karting Park to test out your driving skills.
