Your find plenty of Reindeer in Finland's Lapland
By November, many Lapps believe that the darkest months are over, replaced with what is known as “Blue Time”.
This phenomenon, which extends both the dawn and twilight hours, creates enough light for an array of activities, from cross-country skiing to snowmobiling and ice fishing, as well as a husky safari, snowshoe trek and some Northern Lights-viewing.
A six-night ‘Winter in the Wilderness’ trip in Nellim costs from £1,575pp (two sharing) including flights (London), transfers, six nights’ full-board (hotel), activities, cold-weather clothing and qualified guides/instructors.
First departure is November 27th 2011.
